Marijuana Fairy Leaves Treats in Beaver Canyon

On Behalf of | Nov 2, 2013 | Uncategorized

On Halloween morning this year, the marijuana fairy of stoner lore left some ganja edibles on the sidewalk in Beaver Canyon in downtown State College Pennsylvania. The edibles appear to resemble Rice Crispy treats, only made from Fruity Pebbles. But alas, the Marijuana Fairy’s present never made it into the hands of grateful stoners. Instead, someone handed the cereal bars over to State College Police.

Many people prefer cannabis edibles to smoking because they are much healthier. The most dangerous aspect of cannabis consumption is that smoking anything damages the respiratory system. Also, when cannabis is ingested rather than inhaled, it creates a different high, which also lasts a lot longer. Another advantage is that the smell of burning marijuana can attract unwanted attention, especially in the dorms, while edibles can be consumed discreetly.

I highly doubt that anyone was intentionally playing the role of the Marijuana Fairy. The most logical explanation is that the edibles fell out of someone’s pocket, backpack or purse. Although the State College Police are involved, I highly doubt that they will expend any resources trying to track down the Marijuana Fairy. The police must prioritize their limited resources, and at this time of year, they are far too buy dealing with drunkards who pose a much greater threat to community safety than harmless marijuana users.
